Terms and Conditions

By agreeing to attend a voice lesson with Music in the Chaos, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Conduct:

   • You agree to respect the people and property at the location of your lesson.

2. Payment:

   • You agree to pay lesson fees promptly, by cash or bank transfer.

   • You acknowledge that failure to pay within 1 month of lesson will result in the suspension of all future lessons booked until payment in full of all outstanding amounts is received.

   • Please check "Lessons and Pricing" tab for current lesson fees.

3. Attendance:

   • You acknowledge that failure to give at least 2 hours’ notice of absence will result in your being billed for the lesson. If this is the case you could send a friend or family member since the lesson is paid for anyway!

   • You acknowledge that, if the situation allows for it, you have the option of swapping a face-to-face lesson to an online lesson using WhatsApp instead of cancelling. This may be of benefit where, for example, you are caring for a sick child at home, don’t have access to transport etc.

   • Please communicate with Jacki by SMS if you are unable to attend your lesson.

4. Punctuality:

   • You agree to respect the start and end time of your lesson.

   • You are welcome to wait in the entrance if you’re early for your lesson.

   • Please contact Jacki by SMS if you are running late. 

   • You acknowledge that finish times are firm.  Late arrival at your lesson may result in you receiving a shorter lesson.  The full lesson fee would be payable in these circumstances.

5. Intellectual Property:

   • We welcome recordings to help with practising in your own time, but please do not share any recordings made during lessons without permission (in writing) from Music in the Chaos.

6. Risk of Injury:

   • You acknowledge that, while vocal coaching is low risk and we do our best to teach you to use your voice in a safe and sustainable way, Music in the Chaos and its teachers will not be liable or responsible for any vocal related damage or other physical injuries incurred in connection with your voice lessons, whether at our studios, or any private location including private vocal practise outside of lessons.

   • We recommend drinking water every day to maintain good vocal health and bringing a water bottle to lessons
